Steven Lloyd serves as pastor of the church. He has a degree in History from Asbury College (now Asbury University), a Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a Diplôme d’études approfondies (D.E.A.) from the Faculté Libre de Théologie Evangélique de Vaux-sur-Seine.
He has served as associate pastor at Pine Forest United Methodist Church in Dublin, Georgia, USA, and as pastor of the Dudley Charge (also in Georgia). Steven and his wife, SueAnne came to France in 1985, serving on the pastoral team of the Eglise Evangélique de Viroflay near Versailles. He also served as the director of the Centre d’Etudes Bibliques in Viroflay.
In 1993, Steven and SueAnne went to Moscow, Russia, where Steven was a professor and dean of students at the Evangelical Christian Seminary of Moscow. In 1994, the family returned to the USA and Steven served two years as pastor of the Lidgerwood Evangelical Church in Spokane, Washington before preparing to return to ministry in France. In January 1999, Steven and the family came to the Narbonne area in the south of France, to help with the creation of a new church, which eventually became the Protestant Evangelical Church of the Narbonne Region (l’Eglise Protestante Evangélique du Narbonnais).
